Sarah Palin CPAC Speech (Video)

The liberal media are focusing on the "Big Gulp" moment in Sarah Palin's CPAC speech, while ignoring the real substance of her remarks.

She's not afraid to say Obama lied to us. She's not afraid to call out Obama for failing to do his job as he remains in permanent campaign mode.

Here's video of the full speech, not the snippet chosen by the lib media:

In your face, Bloomberg.

Remembering Andrew Breitbart

It's hard to believe it's been one year since Andrew Breitbart passed away. It doesn't seem possible.

Here in Wisconsin, we all remember the insanity of early 2011. Breitbart was here, helping us fight to save our state.

When doctors in Madison were handing out fraudulent medical excuses to teachers and others skipping work to protest Gov. Scott Walker's reforms, Breitbart was there. He had no problem being diagnosed with "Walker pneumonia."

Here's video:

Here's Breitbart at a Tea Party rally in Madison, February 19, 2011:

He was passionate. He was fully committed to the cause. His enthusiasm and tenacity was inspiring. He was funny.

Here's video of Breitbart's remarks while introducing Sarah Palin at a Tea Party rally in Madison, April 16, 2011:

He was not afraid to call out the divisive, pro-union protesters there on the periphery of the gathering as lying, rude, disrespectful people. Breitbart told them to "go to hell." He defended the courageous Sarah Palin for her effectiveness in calling out the "community organizer-in-chief, Barack Obama."

And here's Andrew Breitbart's speech at CPAC, February 11, 2012:

One of my favorite lines: "Everything has changed, everything has changed in the last few years. Conservatives used to take it and we're not taking it anymore."

The Onion and Quevenzhane Wallis

Quevenzhane Wallis made Oscar history as the youngest Best Actress nominee ever. She's only nine years old.

A tweet put out by The Onion during the Oscars on Sunday night showed that even a well known irreverent, satirical outfit can push its brand of "humor" too far.

From the Hollywood Reporter:

While the top awards were being handed out Sunday at the 85th Oscars, the satirical news organization sent out a message on its official Twitter account calling 9-year-old best actress nominee Quvenzhane Wallis the C-word.

...The tweet, sent out around 8:42 p.m. PST, quickly made the rounds on the social media website. An hour later, the offending message was deleted from The Onion's feed.

Obviously, Quevenzhane Wallis is very talented. She's an adorable little girl. The comment is, of course, ridiculous.

That said, there are limits in terms of decency. Applying the C-word to her was not wise.

There's no question that we've experienced a coarsening of our culture. Vulgarity has become commonplace, no big deal. In some cases, it's held up as art. Hollywood has been instrumental in pushing the limits of decency and desensitizing us to that which is crude and crass. Freedom of expression trumps all, as long as it promotes a liberal agenda.

For that reason, I think there's a bit of hypocrisy in the outrage over the tweet. If it were about one of Sarah Palin's daughters, I doubt the Leftists would be troubled in the least.

The use of the C-word makes the comment more offensive, but it also more clearly distinguishes it as absurd and silly. That clarity, however, doesn't make it appropriate.

Bottom line: This was a case of very bad judgment on the part of The Onion. We still want to protect and respect children (unless they belong to Sarah Palin).

UPDATE: The Onion apologizes.

Christopher Dorner's Manifesto: Heroes

Christopher Dorner, (alleged) murderer of three people, wants the world to understand him.

He has heroes. Killer Dorner is clearly an avowed Leftist.

From his "manifesto":

Off the record, I love your new bangs, Mrs. Obama. A woman whose professional and educational accomplishments are second to none when compared to recent First wives.... Mr. President, I haven’t agreed with all of your decisions but of course I haven’t agreed with all of your predecessors decisions. I think you’ve done a hell of a job with what you have been dealt and how you have managed it. I shed a tear the night you were initially elected President in 2008. I never thought that day would occur. A black man elected president in the U.S. in my lifetime. I cracked a smiled when you were re-elected in 2012 because I really didn’t think you were going to pull that one off. Romney, stop being a sore loser. You could’ve exited graciously and still contributed significantly to public service, not now. Mr. President, get back to work. Many want to see you fail as they have stated so many times previously. Unfortunately, if you fail, the U.S. fails but your opponents do not concern themselves about the big picture.

...Mr. Vice President, do your due diligence when formulating a concise and permanent national AWB plan. Future generations of Americans depend on your plan and advisement to the president. I’ve always been a fan of yours and consider you one of the few genuine and charismatic politicians. Damn, sounds like an oxymoron calling you an honest politician. It’s the truth.

Hillary Clinton. You’ll make one hell of a president in 2016. Much like your husband, Bill, you will be one of the greatest. Look at Castro in San Antonio as a running mate or possible secretary of state. He’s (good people) and I have faith and confidence in him. Look after Bill. He was always my favorite President. Chelsea grew up to be one hell of an attractive woman. No disrespect to her husband.

Gov. Chris Christie. What can I say? You’re the only person I would like to see in the White House in 2016 other than Hillary. You’re America’s no shit taking uncle. Do one thing for your wife, kids, and supporters. Start walking at night and eat a little less, not a lot less, just a little. We want to see you around for a long time. Your leadership is greatly needed.

Wayne LaPierre, President of the NRA, you’re a vile and inhumane piece of shit. You never even showed 30 seconds of empathy for the children, teachers, and families of Sandy Hook. You deflected any type of blame/responsibility and directed it toward the influence of movies and the media. You are a failure of a human being. May all of your immediate and distant family die horrific deaths in front of you.

Chris Matthews, Joe Scarborough, Pat Harvey, Brian Williams, Soledad Obrien, Wolf Blitzer, Meredith Viera, Tavis Smiley, and Anderson Cooper, keep up the great work and follow Cronkite’s lead. I hold many of you in the same regard as Tom Brokaw and the late Peter Jennings. Cooper, stop nagging and berating your guest, they’re your (guest). Mr. Scarborough, we met at McGuire’s pub in P-cola in 2002 when I was stationed there. It was an honor conversing with you about politics, family, and life.

Willie Geist, you’re a talented and charismatic journalist. Stop with all the talk show shenanigans and get back to your core of reporting. Your future is brighter than most.

Revoke the citizenship of Fareed Zakaria and deport him. I’ve never heard a positive word about America or its interest from his mouth, ever. On the same day, give Piers Morgan an indefinite resident alien and Visa card. Mr. Morgan, the problem that many American gun owners have with you and your continuous discussion of gun control is that you are not an American citizen and have an accent that is distinct and clarifies that you are a foreigner. I want you to know that I agree with you 100% on enacting stricter firearm laws but you must understand that your critics will always have in the back of their mind that you are native to a country that we won our sovereignty from while using firearms as a last resort in defense and you come from a country that has no legal private ownership of firearms. That is disheartening to American gun owners and rightfully so.

...General Colin Powell, your book “My American Journey” solidified my decision to join the military after college. I had always intended to serve, but your book and journey motivated me. You are an inspiration to all Americans and influenced me greatly.

...Ellen Degeneres, continue your excellent contribution to entertaining America and bringing the human factor to entertainment. You changed the perception of your gay community and how we as Americans view the LGBT community. I congratulate you on your success and opening my eyes as a young adult, and my generation to the fact that you are know different from us other than who you choose to love. Oh, and you Prop 8 supporters, why the fuck do you care who your neighbor marries. Hypocritical pieces of shit.

...Jeffrey Toobin and David Gergen, you are political geniuses and modern scholars. Hopefully Toobin is nominated for the Supreme Court and implements some damn common sense and reasoning instead of partisan bickering. But in true Toobin fashion, we all know he would not accept the nomination.

...Charlie Sheen, you’re effin awesome.
Well.

This slew of Leftists, including Obama, Biden, Bill and Hillary Clinton, inspired murderer Dorner.

Perhaps these political leaders and their shills in the media should tone down their hateful rhetoric. Look at the monster they created.

I guess we have to blame them for Dorner's cold-blooded rampage.

The Tea Party, Rush Limbaugh, and Sarah Palin are off the hook.

Brian Ross must be crushed.

Matt Damon: John McCain, Sarah Palin, and Obama

This post has been in the making for four years.

I'm happy to report that Matt Damon is a fool. He was dead wrong in predicting back in 2008 that it was likely John McCain would die before January 2013.

Recall, from September 10, 2008:

Allow me to summarize Matt Damon's prediction of America's future if John McCain and Sarah Palin are elected:

McCain is going to die very soon. Palin, clueless "hockey mom" from Alaska, will become president, a mom as leader of the free world. It will be a living nightmare. The reality in store for the country is like a bad Disney movie.

Transcript from NewsBusters:

I think there is a really good chance that Sarah Palin could president. And I think that's a really scary thing because I don't know anything about her. I don't think in eight weeks I'm going to know anything about her. I know that she was a mayor of a really, really small town. And she's governor of Alaska for less than two years. I just don't understand... I think the pick was made for political purposes but in terms of governance it's a disaster.

You do the actuary tables and there's a one out of three chance, if not more, that McCain doesn't survive his first term and it will be President Palin. And it really...we were talking about it earlier...it's like a really bad Disney movie. The hockey mom. "I'm just a hockey mom from Alaska." And she's the president. And it's like she's facing down Vladimir Putin and using the folksy stuff she learned at the hockey rink. It's absurd. It's totally absurd. And I don't understand why more people aren't talking about how absurd it is. It's a really terrifying possibility. The fact that we've gotten this far and we're that close to this being a reality is crazy, crazy.

I need to know if she really thinks dinosaurs were here 4000 years ago, that's an important...I want to know that. I really do. Because she's going to have the nuclear codes. I want to know if she thinks dinosaurs were here 4000 years ago. Or if she banned books or tried to ban books. We can't have that.

Damon displays the arrogance and condescension of so many of Barack Obama's Hollywood supporters. This is how the Hollywood elite think.

More slamming of conservative women, faith, and small town, hard-working Americans...

Talk about being out of touch!

This is just a reminder of what a buffoon Damon is.

I hope he sends John McCain a card on his birthday.

Paul Ryan's Widow's Peak - Jimmy Fallon

Jimmy Fallon continues to mock Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan.

Recently, Fallon has been focusing on Paul Ryan's appearance. On Thursday's Late Night, he made fun of the photos in TIME of Ryan working out.

Fallon commented that Ryan looked like Screech from Saved by the Bell.

On Friday's show, Fallon again mocked Ryan's appearance, in the taped cold open, in a short bit right after the monologue, and in his "Thank You Notes" segment.

From the cold open, Obama and Mitt Romney watching the VP debate on TV together:

OBAMA (Dion Flynn): You know, Mitt, I've been meaning to ask - what's up with Paul Ryan's hair? It's all combed forward, with a widow's peak.

MITT ROMNEY (Jimmy Fallon): I know, right? He looks like a cross between a CGI Tintin and Eddie Munster.

And then after the taped piece and following his monologue, there was this:
JIMMY FALLON: I was watching the vice presidential debates last night and I was looking at Paul Ryan. And, you know, he has sort of, he has a widow's peak here. Have you noticed this thing? And I don't know if anyone else saw this, but I saw it last night. Like the more, it seemed like the more frustrated he was getting throughout the night, the more like, it was like kinda like being, it was pronounced. It was, we have, just, here's some clips from last night. Take a look.

Fallon wasn't finished. He mocked Ryan's appearance in his "Thank You Notes" bit, too.
JIMMY FALLON: Thank you, Paul Ryan's workout photos, for showing what it would look like if Screech from Saved by the Bell started taking steroids.

This is all so lame. It's almost an obsession.

In 2008, the Leftists portrayed Sarah Palin as a ditz. They were relentless. They were unfair to her. They were cruel. They were sexist.

Obviously, Paul Ryan can't be portrayed in the same manner. He's too high-profile. He's known to be exceedingly bright. So, his hairline becomes fodder.

Something as superficial as that tells me the Obama campaign and surrogates have nothing. Their mockery is not witty. It's stupid. It's childish, like schoolyard bullying.

I don't find it entertaining. It's getting so monotonous.

(Hey, did you hear about Dan Quayle misspelling "potato"?)

I don't know. When it comes to fellow Wisconsinite Paul Ryan, I'm a bit of a homer. So I don't like the mocking. It ticks me off.

If we're going to talk about VP candidate hairlines, let's remember that Biden's is fake. Hair plugs.

Biden BOTOX?

Nine days and four years ago, Joe Biden and Sarah Palin debated.

I remember being creeped out by Biden's forehead.

The creases on Biden's forehead were gone. He could raise his eyebrows a bit, but his forehead was immobile, completely paralyzed.

He was so pumped full of BOTOX it was frightening. It's also possible that some sort of spackling compound was used to fill in the wrinkles. In any event, it was very distracting.

Tonight, I will be checking out Biden's forehead. Given that Paul Ryan has such an advantage in terms of physical appearance, I do wonder if the Obama campaign will take dramatic steps to make Biden appear more youthful.

(Remember Obama looked older than Mitt Romney during last Wednesday's debate. The Dem ticket looks tired and worn and completely lacking vigor.)

I'll also be waiting for Biden to talk about hanging out at Home Depot.

From the 2008 debate:

JOE BIDEN: Can I respond? Look, all you have to do is go down Union Street with me in Wilmington or go to Katie's Restaurant or walk into Home Depot with me where I spend a lot of time...
Of course, that diner Biden referenced had been closed for decades.

What does Biden have in store for us this time?

I'm sure Paul Ryan will do a fantastic job.

He won't let Biden lie and he'll hold him accountable for the Obama-Biden miserable record.
