It looks like he's wearing his "Mom Jeans", the ones he wears for throwing out the first pitch at baseball games.
The statement from the White House accompanying the photo is funny. Here's Obama firing a gun, but don't presume he supports that. But, hey, he likes shooting; not that he endorses that sort of thing.
