On The Five Monday, Greg Gutfeld really unleashed on Jim Carrey and his new song, "Cold Dead Hand." Carrey's anti-gun video mocks gun owners and mercilessly targets the late Charlton Heston.
Before releasing the video, Carrey tweeted on Sunday:'Cold Dead Hand' is abt u heartless motherf%ckers unwilling 2 bend 4 the safety of our kids.Sorry if you're offended by the word safety! ;^}
Carrey is begging for attention.
Watch video of Gutfeld's reaction.GREG GUTFELD: He is probably the most pathetic tool on the face of the earth, and I hope his career is dead. And I hope he ends up sleeping in a car the way his life began. This video only made me want to go out and buy a gun. He thinks this is biting satire - going after rural America and a dead man.
Let's talk about Charlton Heston. Charlton Heston was one of the first actors to be behind the civil rights movement and march. What did this jackass Jim Carrey do? He was behind the anti-vaccine panic. There's 160,000 people that died from measles last year according to the World Health Organization. Jim Carrey has killed more people than all the rifles combined.
He's a dirty, stinking coward. He's a moral coward that did a video attacking rural America. He wouldn't do a video about gangs, which kills way more people with handguns. He wouldn't do that because he's too worried about his career. He's such a pathetic, sad little freak. He's a gibbering mess. He's a modern bigot. He's a modern bigot. He's a bottomless pit of insecurity, and the desire for acceptance is why he's doing this because he knows in his heart that he's a fraud.
The Charlton Heston thing is the thing. Here was a great man who is dead and cannot defend himself. This little dirtbag, this little nobody...
...He's as edgy as a Frisbee.
...He insulted a bunch of people and then he ran like a little baby. He's such a little, sad freak.
I'd like to hear Carrey's response to this.
He should do a video about gang violence or violent video games or the violent trash produced by Hollywood. If he had a spine he would.
Like Gutfeld, this video, as well as all the other bullying lately over guns, has only served to make me want to get a gun.
Bottom line: Carrey epitomizes the worst of Hollywood Leftists.
Former New England Patriots linebacker Ted Johnson is not a very nice man, and he's not very bright.
From ESPN:Former New England Patriots linebacker Ted Johnson apologized Friday after saying on a radio show that defensive lineman Vince Wilfork had the ugliest spouse of any of his former teammates.
Johnson, now a radio analyst in Houston, made the initial comment Friday morning on Houston sports radio station KILT. During a lighter segment on the show, Johnson was asked by a caller which of the guys he played with had the ugliest spouse.
"I got it. Yeah, I got it. This is a big, big man," Johnson said. "This guy had his way with the Texans this year. ... He won't hear this -- Vince Wilfork."
What a horrible thing to say!
Furthermore, it was incredibly stupid. "He won't hear this."
How could he think that the cruel statement he made on the radio wouldn't get back to Vince Wilfork?...Wilfork responded angrily on Twitter on Friday morning, writing an apology to fans in advance to how he would react to the news.
"I do not play when it comes to my family," he wrote.
Shortly after that, he tweeted, in part: "It is f----- up when a x-teammate that I looked up to and enjoyed playing with takes shots at my family. She is my everything. I don't care when this was said no one should cross that line."
Wilfork also wrote that he has "a great family life" and was "blessed to have them."
Johnson, who played with the Patriots from 1995-2004, tweeted this apology in several parts Friday afternoon:
"I just made a huge error in judgment and want to apologize to Vince and his wife for comments I made earlier today on a Houston radio show.
"Vince and his family are outstanding people who I have admired since they arrived in NE. I learned a big lesson today and feel terrible.
"I have personally apologized to the family and feel awful. It was a huge error in judgment and I'm sorry for upsetting Vince's family."
Bianca later tweeted a thank-you to her followers for their words of support and added, "I love me and I love that my husband loves me."
The ugly person in this matter is Ted Johnson. A 40-year-old man should know better than to say something so hurtful.
Apologizing was the right thing to do, but a good person would have never responded to such an inappropriate question and actually identified "the ugliest wife in the NFL."
It was a terrible question and unbelievable that Johnson gave an answer.
A history of concussions is no excuse. If Johnson's brain is truly messed up, he doesn't belong on the radio.
Also, it's a huge mistake for anyone to believe it's possible, in the age of the Internet, to say something about someone on the radio without that person finding out.
Jim Carrey knows how to get attention - Go on Twitter and call gun owners "heartless motherf%ckers."
How original!Lame.Watch the video.Very lame.
Some celebrities chose to take to Twitter to trash the Catholic Church when it was announced that Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio of Argentina would be the next pope.
Breitbart's Big Hollywood pointed out some of the ugly tweets.
A few examples:W. Kamau BellAlbert BrooksMichael Ian BlackLiz PhairWhat slime!
I doubt these people have the guts to trash Islam the way they do Catholicism.
Due to the sequester, White House tours are cancelled.
Oh no, oh no, oh no! Not that! Say it isn't so! How can we go on?
HAHAHAHA
Actually, if I were planning a sight-seeing trip to DC, it might not be too funny. I wouldn't be happy that Obama closed the people's house, the house I fund with my taxes.
Cut something else, like the use of Air Force One for those endless campaign trips.
Where's the beef? This is a joke.
Zielinski hasn't been fired. Wisconsin's Democrat Party is still paying him. He still has an official role.
It's a joke to say he's lost his Twitter privileges. Do you think this guy won't continue his spewings on Twitter? He'll be getting his hate out online.
Zielinski will just have a different identity, allegedly detached from the DPW, but I'm sure we'll be able to recognize him.
Will he breathe his online fire while on the job, being paid by the Dems?
What did the Democrats do to Graeme Zielinski to get him to tweet an apology of sorts to Gov. Scott Walker?
It must have been something very extreme.I don't remember Zielinski ever apologizing for his many, many horrible remarks.
Obviously this time, his lack of self-control resulted in a massive mess for the Dems. They were forced into damage control. Zielinski's bad behavior had to be addressed.
First, Zielinski tweeted an apology to Jeffrey Dahmer's victims. He poured out his heart and begged forgiveness from Dahmer's victims. Odd. I don't know why he'd apologize to the "victims of Jeffrey Dahmer." I think he meant to direct the apology to the victims' families for exploiting their loved ones' murders. You can tell Zielinski isn't very adept at apologies.
I don't know if Zielinski is capable of truly "heartfelt" expressions.
The language of the tweet is also not typical of Zielinski's Twitter style. "Their pain is not something with which I should have trifled"?
What is that? All of a sudden, he's talking like he's on Downton Abbey.
Second, hell froze over, and Zielinski tweeted an "apology" to Gov. Walker.
That was not "heartfelt." He "apologized" to Gov. Walker for "inappropriate tweeting." It appears he isn't really backing off the content of his comments. He's sorry he tweeted them inappropriately. Meaning what?
I think the backlash was so fierce that Zielinski had to say he was sorry, but it was clearly torture for him.
I can't imagine him ever saying anything remotely civil to Gov. Walker.
It doesn't seem right that everything should be hunky-dory simply because Zielinski published a few words totally inconsistent with his character and his history.
The fact is the Democrats have a deranged, hate-spewing individual as their spokesman. And apparently, that's just fine with them. ____________________
UPDATE: No one has reined in Graeme Zielinski. He's still as ugly as he wants to be.
Example: What a classy spokesman for Wisconsin Democrats!
Mike Tate is a world class enabler.
You know there is no way Dan Bice would have addressed the outrageous remarks from the spokesman for the Democratic Party of Wisconsin Graeme Zielinski, comparing Gov. Scott Walker to Jeffrey Dahmer, if they had not been brought to the forefront of the conversation on the Internet and talk radio.
The fact that Bice dealt with this subject as relatively quickly as he did, giving high profile Democrats like Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett an opportunity to distance themselves from Zielinski's derangement, proves how much influence talk radio, websites like Right Wisconsin, and social media have in directing the discussion.
From Dan Bice, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel:A number of Democrats were upset to find out that Milwaukee County prosecutors have closed their secret investigation of Gov. Scott Walker's aides and associates.
But no one has been as worked up - or over-the-top - as Democratic Party spokesman Graeme Zielinski.
Zielinski has sent out three tweets drawing outrageous comparisons and contrasts between the first-term Republican governor and Jeffrey Dahmer, the Milwaukee serial killer who who saved and ate his victims' body parts.
The tweets brought strong criticism from Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett, who has twice lost to Walker in gubernatorial contests.
"The mayor said, 'Way over the top and very inappropriate,'" said Patrick Curley, chief of staff to Barrett.
It seems Bice sought comment from Barrett. It doesn't appear that Barrett put out a statement condemning Zielinski.
I wonder if Bice asked Curley if Barrett would apologize to Gov. Walker for his "John Doe" strategy and all the false accusations he made in the recall election.
I wonder if Bice will apologize for being the eager tool of the leakers at District Attorney John Chisholm's office.
Actually, I don't wonder about that. Of course, there will be no apologies for the disgraceful behavior exhibited by those bent on destroying Walker. ...Zielinski wasn't immediately available for comment. He had about a dozen other tweets on Walker that didn't link the governor to Dahmer.
Democratic Party Chairman Mike Tate apologized for his aide's remarks.
"Graeme's tweet is inappropriate, over zealous and insensitive," Tate said via email. "He should have chosen a different comparison point in pointing out Gov. Walker has had to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to avoid criminal charges. He and I regret his comment."
Again, I doubt Tate took the initiative in commenting on Zielinski's ugliness. Tate himself has made plenty of inappropriate and over zealous comments about Scott Walker.
I think Bice is trying to assist the Leftists by making them appear decent, calling out the crazed Zielinski.Retired Appeals Court Judge Neal Nettesheim signed an order closing the secret John Doe investigation of Walker's former aides. The investigation led to criminal convictions of six individuals, including three ex-Walker aides, a Walker appointee and a major campaign donor.
It must be tough for Bice and the other Leftists.
God knows the hacks in Chisholm's office tried to get Walker. They were fishing for YEARS, but they failed.
It's over now.
Bice has an update:UPDATE: Conservative talk show host Mark Belling, currently in Hawaii, expressed outrage at Zielinski's tweets.
"And they accuse my side of hate speech???" he asked. "What's the difference between Graeme Zielinski and Jeffrey Dahmer? Only one was found to be insane."
In 1991, a jury found Dahmer was not mentally ill.
Very funny that Bice updates his online article with Mark Belling's remarks.
Is that supposed to illustrate that a conservative said something not so nice about Zielinski, insinuating Zielinski is insane?
Is Bice trying to achieve balance? Both those on the Right and the Left say inappropriate things?
That fails, too.
Zielinski is the SPOKESMAN FOR THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY OF WISCONSIN. His comments and his demeanor are a reflection of Wisconsin Democrats. Belling speaks for himself. I don't think Zielinski is insane. I hold him responsible for his words and actions.
I hope Wisconsin voters are paying attention. ________________
Graeme Zielinski, official spokesman for the Democratic Party of Wisconsin, has a habit of flipping out on Twitter.
He writes positively despicable things. His comments are frequently degrading. He spews filth. In short, Zielinski perfectly illustrates the mindset and the tactics employed by the fringe Left.
NOTHING is off limits with this guy. It's always open season for him. Family members of his opponents aren't spared his vitriol. He uses his opponents' religious faith to attack, as if he's God sitting in judgment. His cruelty and verbal ugliness is stunning.
So, it should be no surprise that this face of the Democratic Party and former Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reporter and proud American flag burner would go berserk when it was announced that the marathon, sievelike John Doe investigation/witch hunt is closed, with Scott Walker exonerated.
This time, however, Zielinski really went too far.
In a truly irresponsible fit on Twitter, Zielinski equated Gov. Scott Walker with JEFFREY DAHMER. In terms of reprehensible, notorious Wisconsin figures, Dahmer would be akin to Hitler.
Zielinski's tweets:Why would the Democrats of Wisconsin accept Zielinski's behavior?
Their silence is inexcusable.
Any Democrat supporting Zielinski should be held accountable for his or her allegiance to this man. Zielinski's utter lack civility and outrageous remarks are unforgivable. The fact that Wisconsin's Democratic establishment backs him says as much about them as the vile Zielinski.
Brian Fraley, Right Wisconsin, has posted a list of contact information for Wisconsin Democrats.
Call them. Ask if they're on board with Zielinski's assessment of Wisconsin's governor. If so, ask them to explain why they would condone this sort of rhetoric from a Democratic Party official.
It's time to demand that Democrats hold fellow Democrat Zielinski accountable.
Do they have the decency to fire Zielinski?
We shall see. ______________
From Collin Roth, Right Wisconsin: "Left Grieves Over Latest Scott Walker Victory."
Quevenzhane Wallis made Oscar history as the youngest Best Actress nominee ever. She's only nine years old.
A tweet put out by The Onion during the Oscars on Sunday night showed that even a well known irreverent, satirical outfit can push its brand of "humor" too far.
From the Hollywood Reporter: While the top awards were being handed out Sunday at the 85th Oscars, the satirical news organization sent out a message on its official Twitter account calling 9-year-old best actress nominee Quvenzhane Wallis the C-word.
...The tweet, sent out around 8:42 p.m. PST, quickly made the rounds on the social media website. An hour later, the offending message was deleted from The Onion's feed.
Obviously, Quevenzhane Wallis is very talented. She's an adorable little girl. The comment is, of course, ridiculous.
That said, there are limits in terms of decency. Applying the C-word to her was not wise.
There's no question that we've experienced a coarsening of our culture. Vulgarity has become commonplace, no big deal. In some cases, it's held up as art. Hollywood has been instrumental in pushing the limits of decency and desensitizing us to that which is crude and crass. Freedom of expression trumps all, as long as it promotes a liberal agenda.
For that reason, I think there's a bit of hypocrisy in the outrage over the tweet. If it were about one of Sarah Palin's daughters, I doubt the Leftists would be troubled in the least.
The use of the C-word makes the comment more offensive, but it also more clearly distinguishes it as absurd and silly. That clarity, however, doesn't make it appropriate.
Bottom line: This was a case of very bad judgment on the part of The Onion. We still want to protect and respect children (unless they belong to Sarah Palin)._____________________
UPDATE: The Onion apologizes.
Watching the Oscars.
Quite boring.
Thankfully, Twitter is entertaining. List of winners here.
Kerry Picket, Breitbart, offers some examples of twisted people cheering on cold-blooded murderer Christopher Dorner.
It's absolutely disgusting.
Now that the killer is dead, no doubt he'll be seen as a martyr. His hero status will grow.
It's sick.
Dorner is a hero to some.
How can that be?
Graeme Zielinski, spokesman for the Democratic Party of Wisconsin, likes to tout his devotion to the Catholic Church.
He also is the first to throw stones at others.
This self-proclaimed holy man tweets some of the most vile, despicable stuff.
Yesterday and today, Zielinski has exploited his faith to target Paul Ryan.
Examples:Unbelievable.
As a practicing Catholic, I find Zielinski's conduct reprehensible.
He's exploiting the faith to score political points and take swipes at a political opponent.
To talk about what the "wicked" Paul Ryan should be thinking when he receives the Body of Christ at Mass is disgusting.
I can't stand Zielinski using the Church to lash out politically, given that he utterly ignores one of the most fundamental Catholic teachings - respecting human life from conception to natural death.
Yes, Zielinski is trashing Paul Ryan; but I find his comments to be extremely offensive to me personally as a Catholic.
Apparently, Zielinski and I have a very different understanding of what it means to live our faith.
Obama wants Americans to tweet.
It is amazing that the president of the United States is asking citizens to go on Twitter and Facebook. He's promoting a hashtag!
That's part of his plan.
Stunningly lame.
Here's video:TranscriptOBAMA: So today, I'm asking Congress to listen to the people who sent us here to serve. I'm asking Americans all across the country to make your voice heard. Tell members of Congress what a $2,000 tax hike would mean to you. Call your members of Congress, write them an email, post it on their Facebook walls. You can tweet it using the hashtag 'My2K.'
Is Obama really such a dunce when it comes to the economy?
Why doesn't he tell Americans the truth?
Obama's plan to tax the "rich" would be effective, but not for long.
How long?
EIGHT DAYS!President Barack Obama has proposed raising taxes on the rich to put America's fiscal house in order, but critics say federal spending is so massive that the wealthy don't have enough money to cover the nation's unprecedented debt.
In an interview with MSNBC's Andrea Mitchell, Rep. Tom Price (R-GA) said President Barack Obama's plan to raise taxes on the wealthy would only generate enough revenue to fund the federal government for eight days.
"The president’s plan to increase taxes on the upper two percent covers the spending by this federal government not for eight years, not for eight months, not for eight weeks but for eight days. Eight days only," said Mr. Price. "It’s not a real solution. So, again, I’m puzzled by an administration that seems to be more interested in raising tax rates than in gaining economic vitality."
The problem is that the rich don't have enough money to put so much as a dent in America's $16 trillion national debt. "If the IRS grabbed 100 percent of income over $1 million, the take would be just $616 billion," writes John Stossel. "That’s only a third of this year’s deficit. Our national debt would continue to explode."
Still, Mr. Obama's supporters persist in proposing tax hikes on the wealthy.
This is all so depressing.
Obama is selling a plan that would solve our problems for just EIGHT DAYS?
Good grief.
We're witnessing the country commit suicide. Obama is overseeing its self destruction.
I certainly don't trust Obama to be responsible.
I no longer trust the majority of the American people to behave responsibly. Most will mooch. Why bother working?
Taxing the "rich" isn't a solution at all, but Obama wants us to tell our representatives in Congress to do it anyway.
What leadership!
Happy tweeting!
Obama sent this message and image out on Twitter:President Obama ordered the raid on Osama bin Laden’s compound, eliminating the man responsible for the 9/11 attacks: pic.twitter.com/Ok6WTP9D
This is the 11th hour message from Obama's campaign?
Oh, good grief.
What a gutsy call!
GIVE ME A BREAK!
If Obama and his hacks think that this election is about bin Laden, they're delusional.
Ask anyone out of work or underemployed, if they had to choose between getting a job and "eliminating" bin Laden, which would they want?
If Obama wants credit for killing bin Laden, then he damn well should take responsibility for what happened in Benghazi on 9/11/12, and cough up the freaking truth already.
Obama is really getting desperate.
He shrinks a little bit with each stupid thing he says, and he's been saying A LOT of stupid things.
Reince Priebus comments:
The snippy, arrogant, condescending, petulant, peevish Obama showed up at the final presidential debate.
In other words, it was the Obama we've come to know these past four years - these long, painful years, this long national nightmare.
Once again, Obama embarrassed himself, delivering his remarks with confidence but revealing himself to be clueless.
When it comes to our military, Obama is clueless.
During the debate, Obama gave a rehearsed line charging Mitt Romney with being out of touch when it comes to the U.S. military. You could tell he was proud of himself, thinking he made Romney look like a fool.
In fact, Obama exposed himself to be the fool.
From the Wall Street Journal:The biggest laugh line of the debate—subject to countless tweets and Internet searches—was President Barack Obama’s comeback to Mitt Romney on the size of the military, asserting that while the U.S. has fewer ships than at any time since 1916, “we also have fewer horses and bayonets.”
“The nature of our military’s changed,” Mr. Obama said. “We have these things called aircraft carriers where planes land on them. We have these ships that go underwater, nuclear submarines. And so the question is not a game of Battleship where we’re counting ships. It’s what are our capabilities.”
It is clearly true that in 1916, just a year before the U.S. entered World War I, bayonets were about to become quite important to doughboys that would soon head to Europe to fight in the trenches.
But the bayonet is still standard issue military equipment for the U.S. Marine Corps starting at basic training. Marines train in how to use the bayonet in close combat warfare.
According to the Marine Corps website, “attach the OKC-3S Bayonet” to your rifle and it is an effective close combat weapon.
“The OKC-3S is the weapon of choice when shots can’t be fired,” according to the website.
Who's laughing now?
This tweet ricocheted across the Internet shortly after Obama stepped in it.Once again, Obama and his Leftist minions are the buffoons.
Following up his infamous "horses and bayonets," Obama made some of the most condescending, smart ass comments of the three presidential debates.
"We have these things called aircraft carriers where planes land on them. We have these ships that go underwater, nuclear submarines. And so the question is not a game of Battleship where we’re counting ships."
Good grief, what a patronizing jerk!
It's rather amazing to see Obama look so small and Romney look so presidential when they're on the same stage.
Here's raw video of Felix Baumgartner's 24-mile dive, breaking the sound barrier:More video. From the Associated Press, via FOX News:Extreme athlete Felix Baumgartner landed gracefully on Earth after a 24-mile jump Sunday from the stratosphere in a daring, dramatic feat that officials said made him the first skydiver to fall faster than the speed of sound.
Baumgartner came down safely in the eastern New Mexico desert about nine minutes after jumping from his capsule 128,100 feet, or roughly 24 miles, above Earth. He lifted his arms in victory, sending off loud cheers from jubilant onlookers and friends inside the mission's control center in Roswell, N.M.
"When I was standing there on top of the world, you become so humble, you do not think about of breaking records anymore, you do not think of about gaining scientific date. The only thing you want is to come back alive," he said after the jump.
Brian Utley, a jump observer from the International Federation of Sports Aviation, said preliminary figures show Baumgartner reached a maximum speed of 833.9 mph. That amounts to Mach 1.24, which is faster than the speed of sound. No one has ever reached that speed wearing only a high-tech suit.
Baumgartner says that traveling faster than sound is "hard to describe because you don't feel it." With no reference points, "you don't know how fast you travel," he told reporters.
"Sometimes we have to get really high to see how small we are," he said.
Is Baumgartner an athlete, a hero, a daredevil, an exhibitionist, all of the above? The altitude he leapt from also marked the highest-ever for a skydiver. Organizers said the descent lasted just over nine minutes, about half of it in free fall. Utley said he traveled 119,846 feet in free fall.
Three hours earlier, Baumgartner, known as "Fearless Felix," had taken off in a pressurized capsule carried by a 55-story ultra-thin helium balloon. After an at-times tense ascent, which included concerns about how well his facial shield was working, the 43-year-old former military parachutist completed a final safety check-list with mission control.
As he exited his capsule from high above Earth, he flashed a thumbs-up sign, well aware that the feat was being shown on a live-stream on the Internet.
During the ensuing jump -- from more than three times the height of the average cruising altitude for jetliners -- Baumgartner was expected to hit a speed of 690 mph. He was believed to have reached speeds that exceeded 700 mph.
Any contact with the capsule on his exit could have torn his pressurized suit, a rip that could expose him to a lack of oxygen and temperatures as low as minus-70 degrees. That could have caused lethal bubbles to form in his bodily fluids.
But none of that happened. He activated his parachute as he neared Earth, gently gliding into the desert east of Roswell and landing without any apparent difficulty. The images triggered another loud cheer from onlookers at mission control, among them his mother, Eva Baumgartner, who was overcome with emotion, crying.
He then was taken by helicopter to meet fellow members of his team, whom he hugged in celebration.
That's a mind-boggling nine minutes - the height, the speed, plunging to earth; and then, floating, landing, and walking.
I don't know how Baumgartner's mother could watch her son make that leap.
To me, that would be torture. ...This attempt marked the end of a five-year road for Baumgartner, a record-setting high-altitude jumper. He already made two preparation jumps in the area, one from 15 miles high and another from 18 miles high. It also was the end of his extreme altitude jumping career; he has promised this will be his final jump.
Baumgartner has said he plans to settle down with his girlfriend and fly helicopters on mountain rescue and firefighting missions in the U.S. and Austria.
It's hard to imagine Baumgartner being able "to settle down."
Can someone who dives from the stratosphere and takes such incredible risks just turn that rather odd compulsion off?
