Watch Tom Wolfgram's ad for his reelection bid as Ozaukee County Circuit Court judge. It's titled "Seattle."
We all remember that 2012 game from hell.
I didn't watch the ad yesterday and I haven't seen it on TV, but I noticed the image of the Packers and the NFL refs.
Charlie Sykes mentioned the ad on his radio program this morning and tweeted this:
Ozaukee Judge Tom Wolgram uses photos of Packer-Seahawks game in his TV ad. He Ok's that with the NFL and the Packers right? #copyrightlaw

Recall the Russ Feingold ad from his failed U.S. Senate reelection campaign in 2010. He, too, used NFL images. The NFL didn't like it. Read more and watch that ad here.
So Wolfgram, a presiding judge, seems to be dismissing copyright law, unless he received permission from the NFL. That, of course, is highly unlikely. The costs of using NFL images in ads are prohibitive.
Is this yet another fumble by Wolfgram?
Yes, Wolfgram has 18 years of judicial experience but he's doing a lot of things one would expect from someone very inexperienced.
Joe Voiland, Wolfgram's challenger, keeps looking better and better.
