Of course, the subject of Saturday Night Live's cold open was the town hall debate at Hofstra University.
For the morons who get their news from programs like this, they learned that Mitt Romney (Jason Sudeikis) was a buffoon and physically threatened Obama (Jay Pharoah) during the debate. Tagg Romney was also mocked.
Obama, of course, was the cool guy, doing a mic drop at the end, the victor.
There was no joke about Michelle Obama breaking the debate rules and applauding when she should have remained silent.
The bit did an OK job of mocking the audience members asking the questions, relying on stereotypical characters. The final questioner was Tom Hanks. No, he didn't drop another F-bomb on live TV like he did on Friday's Good Morning America.
It was awful.
There was nothing about Obama lying to the country about the Benghazi attack and moderator Candy Crowley (Aidy Bryant) inserting herself into the proceedings as liar/fact-checker in chief on Libya.
Saturday Night Live - in the tank, totally predictable, not funny.
Here's video.
