Bayonets: Obama Clueless

The snippy, arrogant, condescending, petulant, peevish Obama showed up at the final presidential debate.

In other words, it was the Obama we've come to know these past four years - these long, painful years, this long national nightmare.

Once again, Obama embarrassed himself, delivering his remarks with confidence but revealing himself to be clueless.

When it comes to our military, Obama is clueless.

During the debate, Obama gave a rehearsed line charging Mitt Romney with being out of touch when it comes to the U.S. military. You could tell he was proud of himself, thinking he made Romney look like a fool.

In fact, Obama exposed himself to be the fool.

From the Wall Street Journal:

The biggest laugh line of the debate—subject to countless tweets and Internet searches—was President Barack Obama’s comeback to Mitt Romney on the size of the military, asserting that while the U.S. has fewer ships than at any time since 1916, “we also have fewer horses and bayonets.”

“The nature of our military’s changed,” Mr. Obama said. “We have these things called aircraft carriers where planes land on them. We have these ships that go underwater, nuclear submarines. And so the question is not a game of Battleship where we’re counting ships. It’s what are our capabilities.”

It is clearly true that in 1916, just a year before the U.S. entered World War I, bayonets were about to become quite important to doughboys that would soon head to Europe to fight in the trenches.

But the bayonet is still standard issue military equipment for the U.S. Marine Corps starting at basic training. Marines train in how to use the bayonet in close combat warfare.

According to the Marine Corps website, “attach the OKC-3S Bayonet” to your rifle and it is an effective close combat weapon.

“The OKC-3S is the weapon of choice when shots can’t be fired,” according to the website.
Who's laughing now?

This tweet ricocheted across the Internet shortly after Obama stepped in it.

Once again, Obama and his Leftist minions are the buffoons.

Following up his infamous "horses and bayonets," Obama made some of the most condescending, smart ass comments of the three presidential debates.

"We have these things called aircraft carriers where planes land on them. We have these ships that go underwater, nuclear submarines. And so the question is not a game of Battleship where we’re counting ships."

Good grief, what a patronizing jerk!

It's rather amazing to see Obama look so small and Romney look so presidential when they're on the same stage.
